notes-importer — bring Apple Notes into Promptly
================================================

Reads your Apple Notes and writes a single file Promptly can import. It
never modifies the notes it reads.

  1. Open Terminal and drag notes-importer into the window.
  2. Press Return. Grant automation permission when macOS asks — that is
how it reads Notes, and it is the only permission it needs.
  3. It writes promptly-import.json beside itself.
  4. AirDrop that file to your iPhone or iPad, then open Promptly and use
Settings › Import from file. You see what it found before anything
      is written.

One folder at a time:

  ./notes-importer --folder "Work" --out work.json

The first run may be refused
----------------------------

macOS blocks programs it has not seen notarised. This one is not, so the
first attempt may say it cannot be opened. Either right-click it in Finder
and choose Open, or run this once:

  xattr -d com.apple.quarantine notes-importer

Only do that for files you meant to download.

Universal: Apple silicon and Intel. Requires macOS 14 or later.
